Recipient Rights and Customer Services

Recipient Rights and Customer Services

Your rights as an individual receiving mental health services are important to all staff at Livingston County Community Mental Health Authority. The Recipient Rights staff is available at any time to address your concerns and to explain your rights. When you begin receiving services, we will provide you with information about your rights, and how to reach a Rights Officer should you wish to do so.

Customer Services staff are available to you should you want to provide a suggestion or express a concern. Another focus of this service is anti-stigma programs that help individuals who receive services learn to advocate for themselves and to learn skills to help them in their community. Customer Services is guided by the Consumer Action Panel, which is composed of individuals receiving services.

Many policy making, service planning, and program evaluation opportunities to become involved are available to you, and customer services staff will provide you with information and assistance.
